Chicago – Jan. 8, 2025 – Copado, the leader in AI-powered DevOps for business applications, today announced a major expansion of its global operations with the opening of a new subsidiary in Tokyo, Japan. The creation of Copado K.K. will enable corporations throughout Japan to transform their software delivery process with Copado’s proven DevOps and testing solutions. Copado K.K. is a joint venture with SunBridge Partners, a prominent Japan/U.S. venture capital and professional services firm responsible for the Japan joint ventures of Salesforce, Concur, Marketo, and other leading SaaS providers.
Copado’s expansion into Japan is strengthened through strategic alliances with technology leaders Softbank and Digital Garage. The establishment of Copado’s Tokyo headquarters was facilitated through the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s innovative startup support program, which demonstrates Japan’s commitment to bringing leading global technology companies to its capital city.

The new venture will be led by Hirokazu Teramoto, who joins Copado from Salesforce with more than a decade of experience and several certifications. Teramoto brings a strong and diverse skill set for business development, solution sales, and project/implementation management. He will be instrumental in scaling Copado’s operations in Japan.

Japan is increasingly embracing Salesforce’s CRM platform to streamline customer relationship management, drive sales, and improve operational efficiency. As a result, the demand for tools that can streamline development, testing, and deployment on the platform has grown exponentially.
