Notice to Candidates
We have received reports of fraudulent recruiting schemes purporting to be on behalf of Copado. These schemes typically originate with fraudulent emails or job postings, and correspond via emails which do not originate from Copado's email domain. During the fraudulent recruitment process, recipients may be asked to do some or all of the following:
- Provide sensitive information, including bank account information.
- Download malicious software.
- Purchase computers or software.
- Receive fraudulent money, either by cashing a fake check or receiving a transfer.
- Pay a fee in exchange for a job
Copado will never ask you to download software, pay a fee of any sort, or purchase any supplies in order to explore employment opportunities with our company. To do so would be contrary to our business conduct guidelines and ethical practices. In addition, our recruiting emails come from an @copado.com or greenhouse.io address and will never originate from gmail.com, yahoo.com, or other commercial email services.
For an accurate representation of our current job openings, please visit the Copado Careers Page.
What is Recruitment Fraud?
Recruitment fraud is a sophisticated scheme that offers fictitious job opportunities to unsuspecting recipients. The aim of recruitment fraud is typically either to obtain money or your personal and/or financial information for further fraudulent activities.
What Can I Do?
- If you are contacted by someone you suspect may not be appropriately representing Copado, please forward the original email you received (including the complete email header and subject line) to our security team.
- If you believe you've been the victim of a crime, please report the matter to the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) and your local law enforcement agency.
- If you wish to apply for an opportunity with Copado, please submit your application for an open position to https://copado.com/careers/.
Please do not:
- Disclose your personal or financial details to anyone you do not know.
- Send money or download software to explore job opportunities with our company. Copado will never ask for money transfers or payments from applicants to secure a job as an employee or contractor — and will not ask applicants to download or purchase any software.
- Engage in any further communication if you believe the communication may be fraudulent.
