    The Challenge

    Before adopting Copado, Standard Bank didn’t have a DevOps team in place. Everybody in the company was doing manual deployments and developers were overriding each other's codes.

    There was no consistency in terms of development. The developer team didn’t have testing automation in place and people worked in silos not knowing what other teams were up to. It was really difficult.

    Standard Bank realized that they needed to think significantly differently about innovation and empowering everyone within the organization to achieve that goal.

    Within six months of adopting Copado, Standard Bank moved from releasing once a month to implementing best practices, design, architecture, and releasing twice a week.

    The two releases a week are across 50 feature teams. On average, Standard Bank now deploys over 500 user stories in a month.

    With Copado, there are no gray areas in Salesforce releases. And if there is a gray area, Copado Quality Gates helps the Standard Bank’s developers recognize the errors before they get into production.

    The Future

    Copado has allowed everybody in the Standard Bank’s IT team to have visibility around the errors and collaborate closely to keep the errors under check. They appreciate Copado for making the DevOps infrastructure available for the team to use at all times.
